Description of Service Requirements for Document Recording
Any and all documents to be filed at the Recorder of Deeds Office must conform to a set of generalized guidelines.
In other words, please see this section first!
General Document Requirements
The Recorder of Deeds Office is where all transactions having to do with land, including attachments, sales of property, Deeds of Trust, and Quit Claim Deeds are recorded and kept in a permanent file.  This is where the land records are kept. Real Estate Recording

Survey Recording
The Recorder of Deeds Office also takes Marriage License applications, issues Marriage Licenses, files the license after marriage, and maintains a permanent record, alphabetically, of both male and female and the date of marriage. Marriage Licenses
